Orientation: Montañas en el Desierto
This is a multimedia project that looks at migration through a lens focusing on the land, specifically mountains located in the Sonoran Desert, and the names that these mountains have been given throughout time and by the people that have moved through this land. It was made with funding from the Arizona Commission On The Arts, the Arizona Community Foundation, and the University of Arizona's confluencecenter for Creative Inquiry. It was made in collaboration with the artist Yanely Rivas.
